A copywriter, horse rider, and gin and tonic enthusiast.

There are so many things I’m passionate about that it feels slightly impossible to fit them all into one blog, but I’ll give it my best shot.

Most of the time, you’ll find me either outside, in the kitchen, or planning my next little (or big!) adventure, ideally all three in one day if I can manage it.

Cooking is a huge part of my life. I absolutely love it. I’m always trying to recreate dishes at home, usually inspired by the pubs and brands we work with, and I’ve become really interested in nutrition, healthy eating, and understanding where our food actually comes from. It’s one of those things I could happily spend hours doing without even noticing the time go by.

I’ve also always been completely horse-obsessed. I have a Connemara pony that I’ve owned for the past 10 years, and she really is my best friend. I’m really into dressage, but I also love long hacks where you can properly switch off, clear your head, and just enjoy being outside.

I love travelling, exploring and being outdoors as much as possible, and I’m slightly obsessed with cold water swimming. In January 2025, I spent a month in Australia, which was such an incredible experience and only made me want to travel even more. For me, a perfect day would be a swim, a ride, and finishing it off with a gin and tonic in a pub garden, which works quite well, as I also have a Level 2 spirits qualification, so I can confidently say I appreciate a good one.

I also have a bit of a thing for BBC Radio 2. It’s pretty much always on in the background, whether I’m cooking, driving, or getting ready for the day.

Working for GADD was never originally my intention. I started as a university student on a two-day-a-week placement, with no real idea of what I wanted to do. Before that, all of my experience had been in nannying, childcare, and working as a children’s riding instructor.

I met Mieke through a few mutual connections and had known about her and GADD Marketing for over a year before I started. When I finally joined in September 2025, it just felt right straight away, and I remember thinking I wished I’d started sooner.

Very quickly, what started as a placement turned into something much more. By October, life threw a curve ball at me, and I decided to transfer my degree online. This allowed me to move more on my role, and I now love working four days a week with the team.

I began by supporting across general accounts, getting involved in a bit of everything, but naturally found my way into copywriting, which is where I’ve really found my place. Writing has always been something I’ve loved, and being able to use that across my work, from captions to newsletters, is what I enjoy most.

It’s my absolute passion to help people shine online, especially through copy. Email campaigns, newsletters, captions and consumer surveys are all massively my thing, and I love planning out a really strong posting schedule that brings everything together.

I feel really lucky to have found something I genuinely love, especially somewhere like GADD. Being part of such a supportive, creative team makes it even better, and I’ve loved learning from everyone around me. I’m so excited to keep growing, keep developing, and keep helping people and brands shine online, doing more of what I enjoy every single day.
