Marketing is all around
Name me your favourite adverts.
Catchy, memorable and sticks in the mind.
My all time favourite catchy advertisement is from 2017 (yes that is eight years ago), it is probably not one that you can think of. It is from Weetabix, centred around the childhood story of Jack and the Beanstalk with the tune “Fee Fi Fo Fix, I’ve just had my Weetabix”, if you would like to watch it you can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11z_kZkCR34. The fact that I have remembered it all of these years, not just because it is catchy, nor because it is that special. The reason is because of the relevancy. Back then I was 12 or13 when I would have seen this advert on TV, that is point 1) the advert was shown in an easily viewable option for their target audience. 2) The boy “jack” in the advert looks around the same age I was, therefore it relates to parents with children and me. 3) We had already been eating weetabix regularly therefore it was a known brand.
I know that you will have your favourite advertising form and adverts. What is your favourite?
The closer you look at the advertisement that appeals to you the more you realise how you are their target audience. All of this is important for us when you are wanting to produce marketing content. I am taking the assumption that your business is not on the level of television advertisement but marketing is all around, so are you utilising all of your tools. Social media is a platform which should be maximised by all businesses, if you don’t then you are falling behind the trends (this will be another blog topic - so look out!). Here at GADD Marketing, we are a no judgment free zone so even if you are starting from scratch or a half hearted post we will help rectify your marketing.
The 5 reminders you have to remember that when your posts pop up on your customers feed
Are they stopping to read your post
Are they understanding what your product or service is
Are they understanding the meaning of your communication
Are they liking or commenting on the post
Are they clicking to follow you
If not then you are potentially losing out on customers who may not see your business again
Make every message count, make every post meaningful so that as many interactions count as they can.
We understand this is a lot to ask, it takes longer than you realize, a post here and there will not equate to a steady increase you can monitor
